ADHD and autism-informed counselling at The Counselling HUB supports adults who think, feel, and process the world differently. The work is not about fixing you. It is about understanding your patterns, easing overwhelm and burnout, and building routines and relationships that fit. We do not provide diagnostic assessments or testing.

This may be the right fit if you notice

  • Constant overwhelm, or exhaustion from holding it together around other people
  • Difficulty starting, switching, or finishing tasks, even ones you care about
  • Sensory overload, or needing a lot of recovery time after social situations
  • Emotions that feel big and fast, followed by guilt or shame
  • Strain in relationships, work, or school that others do not seem to see
  • A sense that you have spent years adapting to rules that were not made for you

What the work looks like

  1. 1

    Tell us what is hard

We start with your experience and what you want to change, with or without a formal diagnosis.

  2. 2

    Find what works for you

We build strategies and routines around how you actually function, not around a neurotypical template.

  3. 3

    Ease the load

We work on burnout, masking, and self-criticism so you have more room to be yourself.

  4. 4

    Strengthen connection

We practise communicating your needs in relationships, work, and daily life.
